Native Android, iOS and macOS app development

An application needs to help where it is used: by a customer, during work on site or in internal administration. We build native Android and iOS apps, as well as macOS applications, for those tasks.

Native Android applications

Apps for customers and staff to view data, record information on site and perform business actions. We shape the interface around Android use and the device functions the task requires.

Native iOS applications

We develop iPhone apps following Apple’s current design and development guidelines. Depending on the project’s needs, we incorporate modern iPhone and iOS features, such as augmented reality (AR) and Live Activities on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.

macOS applications

Applications for work carried out on a Mac: reviewing data, preparing reports or managing a business process. The interface and system connections support day-to-day use.

Backend connections and platform choices

We connect to existing systems through APIs and backend functions. For multiple platforms, we define the native interfaces separately from the backend functions they can share.

Common questions

When does a dedicated application make sense?

We consider it when the use case or required device functions justify it. If a browser can support the task comfortably, we also compare a web application.

How are release and maintenance handled?

We agree on testing, distribution, required accounts and maintenance tasks in advance. Their scope depends on the platform and purpose of the application.

Start with the way the app will be used.

Which platforms do you need, who will use the application and which data or actions should they be able to access?
