The contact form asks for your name, email address, subject and message. These fields are required to submit the form. The information is sent to BECC Worldwide's email inbox. If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide in your email.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, understand the business context, and prepare the first consultation. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

If no client relationship is established, we retain information relating to the enquiry for up to 12 months after the last contact. If a client relationship is established, contractual, accounting and tax retention rules may require longer retention.

Rackforest Zrt. provides website hosting and email services. Its address is 1132 Budapest, Victor Hugo utca 11., 5th floor, B05001, Hungary. It may process the information necessary to operate these services on our behalf as a data processor. Further information is available in the provider’s privacy policy and general terms and conditions.

RackForest’s web server logs every HTTP request. Each entry contains the visitor’s IP address, the time of the request, the requested URL, the HTTP response status, the amount of data transferred, the referring page (Referer) and the browser identifier (User-Agent). Logging supports service operation, troubleshooting and security.

According to RackForest, access logs are retained for up to about 2 months: they are archived monthly, and archives older than the previous month are deleted automatically. Web server error and security (WAF) logs are retained for about 3–6 weeks, with size-based rotation. Hosting backups are retained for 30 days and may also contain these logs.

Hosting logs are generated independently of whether you allow website analytics.

When you open the root address of the domain without a saved language choice, the server uses your IP address and a locally stored DB-IP country database to choose the initial language. Visitors identified as being in Hungary receive the Hungarian homepage; other countries or an unsuccessful lookup receive the English homepage. We do not send your IP address to an external service for this lookup or create a separate visitor record. A previously saved manual language choice takes priority. Direct Hungarian and English page links always open the requested version.

When you select the Hungarian or English version, the website remembers your choice for 180 days in a first-party cookie named becc_language. Its value is only the selected language: hu or en. It is not used for advertising or audience measurement. You can access the language versions directly at /hu/ and /en/. You can remove the saved preference by deleting the cookie, or change it by selecting the other language link.

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, contact clicks and successful form submissions. Analytics may involve browser and device information, cookie identifiers and technical connection information. We do not send your name, email address, subject or message to the analytics service. Analytics information is not necessarily anonymous: cookies may identify the same browser across visits.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. The Google analytics tag loads only after you allow analytics. If you reject analytics, you can still use the content and contact form. You can change or withdraw your permission at any time using Analytics settings in the footer; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

The becc_analytics cookie remembers your analytics choice for 180 days. The configured lifetime of the _ga and _ga_… analytics cookies is 180 days. GA4 event- and user-level data retention is 2 months; this does not determine the full retention of aggregated statistical reports.

Under the European terms, Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The service may involve processing outside the EU.
